Read the questions below and use them to guide your blog reflection. Make sure to write at least 5-8 sentences reflecting on these questions and your thoughts about Book 2 in Despereaux. In book 2 we get to know a rat instead of a mouse. A rat named Roscuro is related to Despereaux in a few different ways. How is Roscuro different from other rats? Tell how Despereaux and Roscuro's lives cross paths. What are rats suppose to do? Does Roscuro want to be like the other rats? What happens because Roscuro goes upstairs? The narrator talks about consequences and how one action can cause many other things to happen. Have you seen a reaction like this in your life where something you did caused a bad thing to happen? Despereaux gets the chance to deny what he did wrong, and then has the chance to repent for what he did wrong. Do you think Despereaux did the right thing? Would you have done the same thing? We see the word 'purfidy' again, who is the one the word 'purfidy' is used to describe this time?
What happens to Despereaux when he gets to the Dungeon? Do you think he is going to survive? How would you feel if you were in a dungeon like Despereaux is in? |
